Sonali volunteers to develop ideas and provides research support. Currently an Assistant Professor at Rishihood University, Sonipat, she teaches Systems Thinking and Environment. She holds a PhD from the School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University Delhi, where her work focused on community ecology and urban plant ecosystems. She has worked with grassroots NGOs on agrobiodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation. A passionate traveler and photographer, she brings a unique blend of academic rigor, field experience, and creative vision to her work.

Who can volunteer/intern with Aarangar Foundation? +

Anyone passionate about environment, water conservation and community development can volunteer. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including students, professionals, and retirees.

What kind of opportunities are available? +

Volunteers can contribute to fieldwork, awareness campaigns, social media & digital content creation, fundraising, and research on water conservation. Remote and on-ground opportunities are available.

Do I need prior experience to volunteer/intern? +

No prior experience is necessary. We provide basic orientation and guidance to help you contribute effectively.

Will I receive a certificate for internship or volunteering? +

Yes, volunteers and interns who meet the minimum contribution requirements will receive a certificate recognizing their efforts.

Are internships paid or unpaid? +

Most internships are unpaid, but we provide valuable experience, mentorship, and certificates upon successful completion.

How long will it take to review my application? +

It will take approximately 10 days to review your application.

Can I volunteer or intern remotely? +

Yes, remote opportunities are available, especially in research, social media outreach, and fundraising.
