Our mission is to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to conserve natural resources, restore ecosystems, and build climate-resilient, economically sustainable livelihoods. By combining indigenous wisdom with scientific approaches, we promote water conservation, regenerative agriculture, and community-led action that creates lasting environmental and social impact.

What does Aarangar do?
Aarangar operates at multiple levels — raising awareness on water conservation and climate resilience, implementing grassroots interventions with rural communities, and documenting impacts to build science-based evidence.
Women empowerment
We collaborate with women's Self-Help Groups, building leadership skills and strengthening their capacity to drive grassroots interventions.
Youth engagement
Young people gain hands-on experience in community development and environmental work through volunteer and internship opportunities.
Your money at work
Donations are fully utilized for grassroots interventions — reviving traditional water bodies like Johads and Naulas. Donors receive GIS-tagged photo and video updates.
